Carta, Inc. originally from Rome, Italy, now located in Boston, is a graphic design studio specialized in custom made invitations, business cards, hand-bound books and cotton ribbons, directly imported from Italy. Please, inquire for any custom design.
In addition, Angela Liguori and Silvana Amato collaborate together on limited edition books, under the imprint of Edizioni Almenodue, which translates as “Press of at least two.” Since 1998, they collaborate with several illustrators, calligraphers, papermakers, type designers and translators. While they collaborate with others, at core it is always the two of them, Angela Liguori in Boston and Silvana Amato in Rome, who work on a project. Although they now live and work on different continents, a constant exchange of postal parcels and daily emails makes Edizioni Almenodue possible.
Books and calendars by Edizioni Almenodue can be found in several Special Collection Libraries throughout the United States and Europe.
All items will be shipped within two or three days from placing the order. Method of shipping will be first class mail or UPS ground, unless other arrangements are made.
